  • Part 4 Question #2

    Part 4 Question #2
I think that one of the contributions that she made to Canada was when she first joined the army in 1913 and she had to leave her family behind. I think that this shows that she was committed to fighting for her country and supported Canada. Another contribution that she made was when she left the war because I think that this shows that she committed all the way and did not give up for our country.
  • Part 4 Question #1

    Part 4 Question #1
I think that Lillian Mary Nield is a Canadian war hero for many reasons. I think that she is a Canadian war hero because she decided that she would help the injured soldiers in world war one. I think that she is a war hero because if she hadn’t joined as a nurse, then there would be nobody to help the soldiers that were hurt. Also, I think that she is a hero because she was able to last the war and not leave the army because she new it was the right thing to do and soldiers would of needed her.
