Christina Appeared in Star Search
Then and Now Christina auditioned and earned a spot on the national television program "Star Search". This was Christinas first appearance on television (she competed in many talent shows throughout elementary school). This 9 year old wowed the audience with her mesmerizing rendition of Etta James "A Sunday Kind of Love". Placing second in the competition, Christina was defeated by 12 year old Christopher Eason; who went off to become a barista in Oklahoma City. -
Christina Joins the Mickey Mouse Club

Christina Moved to Japan
Christina moved to Japan with her mother to record hit japanese pop song "All I Wanna Do" with Japanese pop star Keizo Nakanishi. This was just another step in increasing her popularity but unfortunatley wasn't the recording that got her, her big break. -

May 2001 was the start of a new Christina. Christina teamed up with Lil' Kim, Mya and Pink for the song and video that features them dressed in bold make-up and provactive outfits. This was definitely unexpected from Christina but wasnt the most shocking of her career. Although shocking enough for the four to take home a Grammy award for Best Pop Collaboration and an MTV award for Best Video. -

October 2002, Christina released her new album "Stripped". This album definitely displayed many different sides of her. Reporting in an interview that she is more than just one Christina. She has displayed her vulnerable side in her song "Beautiful", her strong, aggressive side in "Fire", and her crazy, provocative and confident side of her in her song "Dirty". Christina felt this album important to finally show the public who she was for the first time. -

Christina held strong with her wild side, posing nude on the cover of Rolling Stones. This side of Christina raised much controversy throughout the public. Christina told a German newspaper "I want to try out as much as possible. It would be wrong of me to hide this side of my personality. I have fun being sexy and tough at the same time". The only issue that came about of this for Christina was people were more interested in her new image then her music. -

Christina's Having a Baby!
Christina concieved in September but didn't actually find out she was pregnant until early November. Christina was very excited to be entering mother hood. She even posed nearly nude on the cover of "Marie Claire" to reveal her pregnancy and show off her baby belly. -
Christina Welcomes Max
Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman welcomed Max Liron Bratman. This was both Christina and Jordans first child. Max weighed 6 pounds and 2 ounces and measured 20.5 inches. He was born at 10:05 pm on a saturday. -

The Voice
Christina featured as a music coach and judge for the new singing competition "The Voice" alongside Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. After three seasons of being on the show the pop star announces her plans to take a break from the show to promote her upcoming album "Lotus". -
Lotus
Lotus is Christina's 7th and final studio album released to date. Christina released two singles to promote this album. The first was "Your Body" as its lead single and second was "Just a fool". Both songs appeared on the Billboard Top 100 but the album was Christinas worst. As of January 2013 Lotus has only sold over 220,000 copies. Although nothing really stands out in this album I'm sure Christina has more suprises for us over the years to come.
