    Leonidas was a Greek warrior king of the Greek city of Sparta. He led the Spartan forces during the Second Persian War and is remembered for his death at the Battle of Thermopylae. Leonidas lived from c. 540 BC to c. 480 BC.

    The Little Boy was the codename for one of the nuclear bombs dropped on Japan (along with Fat Man). It was the first atomic bomb used in warfare. Little Boy was developed by Lieutenant Commander Francis Birch's group of Captain William S. Parsons's Ordnance Division at the Manhattan Project's Los Alamos Laboratory during World War II. Ths bomb was dropped on August 6, 1945.
