    Laure's second grade teacher show her how great writing during a Haiku lesson. She never thought she would become the writer she is today. She thought she would grow up and become a doctor.

    Laurie graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S.L.L. in Languages and Linguistics.

    One day before her birthday she revived one of the best presents ever. Her first book was published and Nidito Runs was born.

  • Seeds of America

    She started this trilogy in 2008 with the publication of Chains. Read and follow 13 year old Isabel as she fights for her freedom

    She received the award from the American Library Association. She got it because of contribution to young adult ligature.
