Allison leaves on a diplomatic misson for the first time since adopting Larrissa
Allison leaves on a diplomatic mission to investigate criminal activity. She has gone on missions like these before, but not since adopting Larrissa. She leaves her in the churches care while she is gone. At sunset, Larrissa watches with one of the priests as her mother rides away, out of town, with a sword strapped to her waist. Larrissa is very upset and doesn't understand why her mother is leaving. Allison returns 3 weeks later,unharmed. -
Larrissa learns about responsibility
Not long after her 8th birthday. Larrissa's mother introduces the concept of responsibilty and chores to her. From now on, Larrissa is expected to sweep the temple floors, wash her own clothes, and act as a junior scribe for the temple of the great librarian. -
Larrissa steals her mothers sword (2/3)
things like traveling, riding, archery, and swordplay. One day when Larrissa and her mother were washing their clothes in the river, Larrissa asked her mother if she could hold her sword. Her mother explained to her that the sword was a tool used to uphold justice and that one day, when she was old enough she would have a sword of her own. She did not let Larrissa hold her sword. Larrissa steals her mother's sword (1/3)
Larrissa's mother Allison never wanted her daughter to learn the ways of swordplay and warfare, but she could never hide who she truly was from her Larrissa; a warrior. Allison wanted Larrissa to lead a quite and scholarly life. She wanted her to stay away from violence. So natuarlly, Larrissa rebelled. She was not interested in being a brow-beaten book keeper like other young people her age, she was much more interested in things like traveling, riding, archery, and swordplay. One day when- -
Larrissa steals her mother's sword (3/3)
slept, Larrissa snuck into her room and took her mother’s sword out of its scabbard. She went to play with it in the fields by her house. She swung it around with both hands, wildly and awkwardly. She play-fought with it by herself for 30 minutes before her mother caught her and gave her a long lecture about honesty, responsibility, and safety. She punished her with extra chores for a week. -
Allison begins teaching Larrissa swordplay
After Larrissa's week of punishment was up, her mother instructed her to meet her in the fields by her house after she finished her daily readings. Larrissa was happy and excited to see her mother standing in the field with two sparring swords, and scarecrow dummies. This was the beginning of Larrissa's lessons in swordplay. from this day on, Larrissa always practiced at least three or four times a week with her mother, or other capable teachers if her mother was unavailable. -

Allison leaves again
Allison leaves on what was supposed to be a mission trip to establish more temples of the great librarian. She stays in contact with Larrissa and people in Oricha .by writing letters weekly. -
Larrissa gets a birthday present
Larrissa recieves a parcel containg a dagger from her mother on her 14th birthday. Along with it is a letter her that she will be traveling to Elithcar soon to spread to love and knowledge of the great librarian. -
Allison stops writing
Allison abruptly stops writing home and after four months of no contact, Larrissa assumes her mother dead. At this point Larrissa has lost all hope of ever seeing her mother again and begins a grieving process. She feels sad, frustrated, alone, and abandoned for a long time. This causes her faith to waver -
Larrissa leaves Orichas
Larrissa wanders astray from her church both figuratively and literally. She is a changed young woman since her mother left and stopped writing. In the morning, she packs what little belonging she has, along with her most prized possession; her dagger, steals a horse from the temple stables and rides to the neighboring city of Wandalo. -
Larrissa arrives in Wandalo
Larrissa did not find the big city life easy. She was in a new and strange place with no money, very little belongings, and no personal contacts that she kept in touch with. She was quickly reduced to stealing to survive. -
Larrissa begins her new life as a Shadow Weaver

Larrissa is assigned her first contract
at this point, Larrissa has gained renown within the shadow weavers. Early this morning she is summoned to High Priest Valdosta's chambers. This is where she is given her first assignment to track and kill an enemy of the church. Over the next four years, she completes 7 assignments. -

After returning from her most challenging assignment yet, one where she nearly failed and died, High Priest Valdosta summons Larrissa to his quarters. Assuming he means to give her another contract, she finds it odd he would ask her to do another job one right after the other. Along with the other high council members decided that if she returned from her current assignment successfully, she would be ready to take her next step within the order. The next morning Larrissa Left Wandalo, on what would be the beginning to a brand new adventure.
