Names
In 1887, The Earl of Malmesbury made the Labrador name official. This was in Newfoundland. -
Liver Colord Puppy
In 15892 the first two liver colord labs was born. They were born at Buceuch's Kennel. -
First Newfoundland Kennel
In Newfoundland the first official kennel organization for labs was organized in 1897. The Kennel was organized by the Earl of Malmesbary. -
First yellow lab
In 1899 the first recorded yellow lab was born.The lab was born in a kennel in Newfounldland. -
Labs Recocnized
In 1903 Labs were recocnized as a distinct breed. Labs were recocnized to the American Kennel Club (AKC). -

Chocolate Labs were found in 1930 in two different kennels. They were the first recorded Chocolate Labs. -

In 1997 a Choclate Lab Pup was adopted to a Presidant and his family. This was the first Lab ever to live in the White House. -

In 2011 a lab broke another world record. This lab broke a recycling record. By picking up 26,000 bottles in one day. -
