Korean War
During World War 2 Japan took over Korea and caused a lot of damage. After the war Russia and America both decided to help Korea out so Russia took over North Korea and America took over South. There was a lot of tension between North and South Korea because half was democratic and half communists so on June 25,1950 a war broke out. The war lasted three long years and around 5 million people died they ended up the same as they were, split in half.
