The attack on Pearl Harbor was a mission from the imperial Japanese to hurt American Naval forces stationed there. Pearl Harbor was in Oahu, Hawaii. The casualties were around 3,400 and about 2,300 U.S military killed. -

Otherwise known as Operation Overlord or D-Day, This battle occured on 5 beaches(50 mile stretch), and was one of the largest amphibious military attacks in history. This win for the allies cut off Germany supplies and stopped westward invasions in the future. -

After the battle of Berlin Hitler saw that his reign of terror was over so while held up in his bunker in Berlin, he poisoned himself with cyanide and shot himself in the head. -
Germany Surrenders
After the battle of Berlin and Hitlers suicide, Germany unconditionally surrendered to the Allied powers. This day is otherwise known as V-E Day -
The Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
The bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were what finally forced Japan to Surrender. The bomb dropped on Hiroshima was called the Little Boy and was the first ever Atomic bombing created and killed 80,000 immediately. The bomb dropped on Nagasaki was called the Fat Boy and killed about 40,000 initially. -

After dropping the two nuclear bombs, Japan surrenders to the Allied powers ans sign peace Treaty to end the war between all the nations.
