    Siddhartha Announces his Renunciation

    Upon returning from the outside world, he understands his purpose in life, effectively announcing his renunciation from the Palace and giving up his life of luxury and royalty.

    Siddhartha Reaches Enlightenment

    He had learnt many skills regarding his venture to reaching enlightenment. He learnt the ascetic ways and meditation. From the period that he began his journey to the moment, he reached Enlightenment, Siddhartha had experimented with many extremities. During his ascetic life, he had fainted due to malnourishment. Through this, he had settled on a 'Middle Way', halfway between indulgence and suffering. As such, he settled under a Bodhi Tree.
