Over the span of 3 years, Katherine acted in a handful of small film. She also made guest appearances on some bigger TV shows, including 30 Rock and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Katherine began her acting career in a small theatre and did a workshop in her hometown. The person she worked with recommended her when the Broadway show "A Little Night Music" needed a replacement for the part Fredrika Armfeld. She traveled to New York to audition, and a few days later, got the part. Katherine later acted in many other shows, including The Crucible, To Kill a Mockingbird, Annie, and The Secret Garden.

Katherine was partly homeschooled for much of her life. She was a brilliant student and graduated from high school at the age of 14.

Katherine acted in many further shows and movies from 2011-12. Some of these include her recurring characters in Disney Channel's Jessie and Kickin' It. She also acted in two independent films, Contest and Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn.

Katherine made her big screen debut in the film New Year's Eve, playing the character Lily Bowman. This film came out in late 2011.

Some major works that Katherine has done include being acting as Myra Santelli in Disney's Chanel's "Girl vs. Monster" in 2012. She later was a voice actor in 6 episodes of the TV show Transformers: Rescue Bots in 2014.

Katherine graduated from Drexel University summa cum laude with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. She completed this degree in just 3 years when she was 17. She is currently working to get her Masters Degree in Economics.

In 2013, Katherine acted in three movies, namely A Sort of Homecoming, Natural Selection, and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials. Later, she acted in the third movie in the Maze Runner trilogy, The Death Cure.

Katherine is possibly most famous for is for her role in the TV show Shadowhunters, based off of the book series by Cassandra Clare. In this, she plays the lead role of Clary Fray, a seemingly normal girl who later finds out that she is part of an ancient race called the Shadowhunters.

Recently, Katherine began acting in the hit TV show Arrow. She is not one of the original members of the cast of the DC show, as her character first makes her appearance in season 7. She plays the recuring character Maya, and the first episode she appears in aired on December 3.
