    The philosopher Karl Popper was born on 28 July 1902 in Vienna, Austria. His father made him very interested in social and political issues while his mother sparked his interest so much in music he chose to obtain a Ph.D. in music as a secondary subject.

    In 1918 Popper set off to study at the University of Vienna . He would soon become interested in politics and became a Marxist (1).Popper earned his doctorate degree in 1928 for his dissertation “Zur Methodenfrage der Denkpsychologie” (2). Citations:

    From 1937 up into his retirement in in 1969 from the University of London Karl Popper would spend many years teaching students and writing. One of his prolific works is " The Logic of Scientific Discovery" published in 1959. Popper Died in 1994.
