  • First Substantial Period of Research

  • Tyndall a Professor

    Tyndall became a professor of natural philosophy at the Royal Institution, London. At the Royal Institution he became friends with Michael Faraday, a physicist and chemist.   • Belfast Address and Denounced from the Church

    During his Belfast Address Tyndall address science over theology. He was denounced from the catholic church and was accused of atheism for claiming the cosmological theory belonged to science rather than theology.
