    Early morning in the peaceful Hawaiian waters there was a boom! 20 US naval vessels and 200 airplanes were destroyed. I remember walking outside and seeing mass destruction taking place on my beloved soil.

    The Japanese were in internment camp for a couple years before the closing date was announced for the camps. I remember i would always hear my parents talking about leaving but i didnt think it would happen.

    The Japanese people were not in the best position when it came to justice. I remember when the Supreme Court ruled that Japanese can be imprisioned without a trial and all i thought it "i can not leav my own home without fear"

    Finally after a long battle the Japanese were freed. As i walked out of the gates of prision all i thought was "im finally free" it was the best feeling i ever had.

    After three years the day that Japanese had waited for arrived. I remember entering the internment camps thinking "ill never leave" and now three short years later i can say "i am free"
