    The Japanese race evacuated when former Mcpherson in council PC Passed on this date, this caused the goverenment to sell the properties where families lived, known as the tents, chacks, abandoned mining towns and unused bulidings without the owners consent.
  • The expulsion

    When the Japanese Canadians from the province of BC were carried out by RCMP, they were guaranteed of expulsions. Also, the ultimatum were forced to move east of the Rocky Mountains or be exiled back to Japan.
  • Restrictions

    Restrictions were made longer than 4 years, the Japanese Canadians were not allowed to returned back to the West Coast until April 1 1949. Also, they were then able to vote.
