    After the reignation of the shogun, the new emperor Meji seizes control of the country and unifies it after the Boshin Wars.

    Japan starts, for the 2nd time, trying to invade China. This conflict is resolved at the end of WW2,

    On September 1st 1939 Germany starts the "Official WW2" by invading Poland, however Japan was invading China in 1937. The war ends with the US nuking Japan making them surrender.
