Childhood
She was born in Hampshire, England. When she was little girl, write as many letters as 3,000 but only 161 survived. Her older sister, Cassandra, burned the greater part of them and cut of pieces out of these she kepts. For Envy. -
Family
Her father, George Austen was a rector. Jane was the secon daughter and seventh child in a family of eight persons. Six boys and two girls. Her older sister, Cassandra, and Jane, they didn't marry. -
Teenager
She began to write as a teenager. In 1801 the family moved to Bath. After de death of Jane's father in 1805, Jane, Cassandra and their mother moved several times eventualy settling in Chawton. -
Her novels
Jane's brother, Henry, helped her to negotiate with a publisher and her first novel,''Sense of Sensibility'' appeared in 1811. Her next novel ''Pride and Prejudice'', which she described as her own darling child. All of Jane's novels were published anonymously. -
Death
In 1816, Jane began to suffer a ill health probably to Addison's disease. She travelled to Winchester to receive treatment. But she dies in Winchester on 18 of July 1817. Two more novels: ''Persuasion'' and ''Nothanger Abbey'' were published posthumousluy and a final novel was left incomplete.
