Kory had Maria's name for the Halloween gift exchange. She wrote down that she wanted swedish fish. That morning in class, he dropped the bag on her desk and said "here are your gross swedish fish!"

Kory and Maria get coffee at the starbucks at Target. They walk around the store, goofing around. They take a picture with the later infamous reindeer that they named Norman.

Kory take Maria to the Christmas Tree Festival in Akron. Nervous Maria holds Kory's hand for the first time after he suggests it of course :)

Kory graduated and left for Ohio State but before he left he made sure to tell Maria that he know that they would stay really good friends. Little did they know where they would end up now..

Kory is home for his Winter break. Maria goes to his house for the first time and they make Christmas cookies. Maria's favorite was the cookie that Kory made to look like her.

Maria and her college roommates take a trip to OSU for Halloween. She meets up with Kory a.k.a Clark Kent and his little pikachu friend

Kory and Maria start texting a lot and reminiscing. Later, very awkward and shy Maria goes over to Kory's to watch Smallville and is too nervous to admit that she really does like Kory.

Kory asks Maria to come visit him at Caribou. She walks in and something about that quick visit brought confidence to Maria and made her realize how much she really wanted Kory.

After several little dates and lots of texting, Kory officially asks Maria to be his girlfriend. She eagerly says yes!!!

Kory and Maria go to see the avengers movie. Kory has to deal with an annoying man kicking his chair the whole time.. but the movie was good and Maria learned a little more about her comic loving boyfriend.

Kory and Maria go out to celebrate Bailey's 21st birthday- a sort of "coming out" as a couple :) Kory buys Bailey a shot of gin which barely makes it down.

Maria is invited to Ali's graduation party where she has the chance to meet all of Kory's family and friends :)

Kory and Maria go to the aeros game with friends. Kory catches a foul ball and gives it to Maria he also talks Maria into throwing a baseball to see how fast she can pitch.

Kory joins the fun at a traditional bonfire with the girls at Megan's house. While messing around in the fire, he accidentally tosses hot coals onto Megan.. but its okay because her parents love him!

Maria, Kory, and Abi go to watch the 4th of July parade in Stow. It was sweltering hot, but Maria and Kory were looking cool in their matching flag shirts!

On the patio of wing warehouse, Kory and Maria go out to kiss and stuff ;) and end up saying their I love yous for the first time.

Maria and Kory go out to get long islands ice teas and they meet up with Joey and Bailey. Maria gets a bit crazy and falls over playing darts. Thankfully she had Kory to tell her where she hid the house key.

Maria and Kory go to the Indians game. They lost the game but it was Slider's birthday! They finished the night with dinner at Kory's grandparents house which is always fun :)

Maria is super excited to celebrate Kory's birthday! She gets him an Ashland boyfriend shirt as well as cncert tickets

Kory took Maria out to a great breakfast and spend the day with her. They ended the night by carving a fantastic pig pumpkin which was the envy of the street and his dad made delicious pumpkin seeds!

Maria and Kory have a blast at the Ryan Cabrera Concert where Kory shouts over the crowd and talks to the legendary Ryan Cabrera!

Their plans had changed a bit after Thanksgiving when Kory had a rough day and suggested Maria not make the long trip all the way back to the Falls. Once she got to Ashland, they decided she should come up and she spontaneously drove up on a whim and they had a magical night ;)

Maria makes a guest appearance on Kory's radio show and is once again reminded how little she knows about sports... still learning!

Maria, Kory, and Ali went to the Lake Erie Monsters and Kory enjoyed throwing a stuffed elephant onto the ice for the teddy bear toss and Ali almost got into a fight for photobombing. We left early...

Maria came over to Kory's house at midnight on Christmas Eve so they could exchange Christmas gifts. Kory gave Maria a gorgeous heart necklace that she has never taken off and of course spuds was wrapped up as well with a jar of peanut butter :)

The holiday began with Maria going to Kory's for brunch then followed up with Kory coming to Maria's for lunch and ended with Maria meeting up with Kory's family at his grandparents house for lots of fun and soda streaming :) It was quite a busy, memorable, and enchanting holiday for the couple.

Kory came over for birthday dinner where he met the infamous Aunt Marcy and Maria's Grandma. He impressed them all! He graciously played halo with Toby, witnessed a doggy doo doo game, and endured a long thirty minutes of a stomp DVD.. Best. Boyfriend. Ever.

Maria goes on a trip to Japan which ended up being one of the hardest ten days of her life becasue she had to resort to only communicating with Kory through email through a 14 hour time difference. Talk about jetlag for your heart...

Kory and Maria reach their 10 month anniversary.. a milestone :) Happiest ten months of Maria's life.

Happy Valentine's Day, lovebug! I love you so much I can't even explain it. This is the most amazing Valentines Day of my life because I can share it with my soulmate. Every moment of our story is memorable and I wish I could have gotten every day down becasue every day with you is enchanting. I love you xoxoxoxoxox
