Introduction/ Background Info.
A girl named Herculeah Jones is introduced. Her father is a cop, while her mother is a private investigator. She has a best friend named Albert, who she calls "Meat". There is a house in her town that was originally named "Twin Oaks", but has gained the name "Dead Oaks", as it is to be rumored that terrible things happened in that house. -
Event 1
When Herculeah was on her way home from the pawn shop, she finds her father at Dead Oaks. She asks him whats going on, but he won't tell her a thing. -
Event 2
When she arrives home. Meat is the first to greet her with news. He tells her that there is a creepy, very mysterious man inside her house with her mom, and he doesn't want her to go in to protect her. She goes in anyway, and is shocked when she sees a man, as she describes something like a hulking creature who looks and smells like an escapee from a zombie movie. From that point on, she calls him the Moloch, a dark, terrible creature from the book "Hercules vs. the Moloch". -
Event 2 Continued
Usually her mom is open with her about clients, but with this one, she wasn't. 'There must be a reason', Herculeah thought. -
Event 3
When Herculeah and Meat are at the pawn shop, Meat is looking through a pair of binoculars. When he looks over at Dead Oaks with them, he thinks that he sees somebody through the window for a split second. This finally cracks Herculeah to start investigating what's going on. -
Event 4
The first step in her investigation was go into the house. Almost getting trapped in there by the Moloch himself, she finds out that he knows the house well, suggesting hes been there before. She finds out more information from her dad, and from the recording of the interview her mother had with the Moloch on the first day. She found out that he wants her mom to find a body, specifically Hamilton Crewell, and that he was in an insane asylum for the criminally insane. -
Event 5
At Herculeah house, the phone rings. . . it is the Moloch. He asks if her mom is home. Herculeah says no, and asks to take a message. His message was "the key is still there". So, being the curious kid she is. She goes to Dead Oaks again. -
Event 6
Herculeah is able to find to find the key, and she goes inside. A couple minutes later, the Moloch shows up, but before her can find her, her mother shows up. When her mother is questioning him, he explains what happened to him in the past, and how he ends up in the asylum, and it turns out the Moloch was Hamilton Crewell's son. After that, the Moloch and Herculeah's mom go up to his fathers old room, which is where Herculeah is hiding. So she runs out and finds this staircase, which has a . . . -

The coroners came and took the body. That night at home, Herculeah and Meat finally found out was the Moloch was. (not what you would expect) -
