The iPhone 4 was a big step forward. It had a more modern look, and it increased the pixel count while keeping the same display size. It was the first iPhone with a front-facing camera. It was released June 24, 2010. The next year, October 14, 2011, the iPhone 4S was released. It had an upgrade to 8 megapixels and featured the arrival of Siri.

Apple introduced the iPhone 5 with a lighter aluminum casing. It featured the first look of Apple Maps. The C models featured colorful shells, and the 5S introduced the Touch ID system. Both ran on new IOS 7.

In September of 2014, the iPhone 6 is introduced, along with the larger-sized iPhone 6 plus. It featured mobile payment options. Also, it was much faster.

In September of 2015, the iPhone 6S and 6S plus were introduced. The iPhone 6S featured 3-D Touch and a force-sensitive touch-screen. There was also a larger 6S plus. 13 million 6S and 6S Plus were sold in their first weekend.

September 2016 - The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus featured stereo speakers, water and dust resistant, longer battery life, and more colors. It had changes in the phone's headphone system and an improved camera.

Apple's iPhone 8 went on sale September 22, 2017. The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are upgrades of the current iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. They feature a few add ones, such as wireless charging.

The iPhone X launches November 3, 2017. Like the iPhone 8, the iPhone X features wireless charging. It also features Face ID. There are also new camera features. Apple says it is "some of the most sophisticated technology we have ever devolved."
