Safety Brake
Safety Evaluator Brake was created to make sure that the elevator didn't fall all the way to the bottom while transporting people and items. Elisha Graves Otis created this useful safety brake to keep elevators safe. -
Toilet Paper
Toilet paper used to wipe ur butt was designed in New York by Joseph Gayetty. He made sheets of manila hemp infused with aloe which was held in kleenex-like boxes. People felt no need for this invention and believed they could just wipe their butts with catalogs and not have to spend money since the catalogs came free in their mail but now is accepted and catalogs are no longer used. -
Escalator
An escalator is a moving staircase Commonly found and used in shopping malls, department stores, airports, an escalator consists of a motor-driven chain of individual, linked steps that move up or down on tracks, allowing the step treads to remain horizontal. The escalator was invented in 1859 by Nathan Ames of Saugus, However, Ames' escalator was never built. The earliest form of a working escalator in 1892 by Jesse W. Reno, was introduced in New York in 1896 -

In 1879 Sir Stanford Fleming made sure that the whole world all knew what time it was and agreed on a time and made it a world standard in 1884
