The first successful steam powered engine was made in 1814. It was made by George Stephenson. This invention was revolutionary because it changed how we moved around. This concept mainly took off in the locomotive area and "Choo Choo" trains were made. -

He was the first person to make, and patent the formula for cement. Cement revolutionized the building industry as it made building a lot easier. -

The typewriter was a very useful item for many people. It really helped people write things down with ease, and agility. W.A. Burt was the one to come up with the brilliant idea. The typewriter slowly made the printing press go extinct because of the typewriter's efficiency. -
Braille Was Made
Braille was revolutionary of blind people. It allowed blind people to read without the need to see. The person who made Braille was called Louis Braille. Braille still helps people all over the world and is an excellent example of how old technology doesn't die out. -
Refridgerator Was Made
The early refrigerator was very helpful for many families. It allowed people to store food in it without it going bad. Jacob Perkins was the man to invent it. The refrigerator used ice to keep the food cold. -
Telegraphs Were Made
The telegraph was the olden-day's equivalent of SMS texting. It used long wires to deliver a message to the other end. Samuel Morse, who created the telegraph was considered a genius. In fact, the following year, he made the Morse Code, which is still used today. -
Dynamite Was Created
Dynamite completely busted the way we mine. It was an effective way to open up areas without too much man-power. Alfred Nobel was the man who made dynamite. Dynamite was also used in the making of the Panama Canal. -

The telephone was also a revolutionary item back in the day. It was made by the famous, Alexander Graham Bell. It changed how we communicated with each other. However, in Alexander Graham Bell's time, only the richest could afford the telephone. -
Coca Cola Was Created
In the year 1886, Coca Cola was made. This drink in arguably one the most unhealthy drinks ever created. However, his drink blasted off into the sky because of the idea of carbonation. People were addicted to the fizz of it. The person accredited with creation of the drink was John Pemberton. -
The Zipper Was Created
In the year 1893, the zipper was made. It revolutionized how we wore pants. It also changed the fashion industry and made a tidal wave of new clothing concepts.
