  • Treaty of Versailles

    Ended the state of war. Germany was held accountable for World War One and was punished severely.
  • The Roaring Twenties

    Women got more freedom. The jazz age began and it was a time of great celebration. Zoot suits and and slappers.
  • Mussolini's Rise to Power

    Supported Fascism. Eventually becomes to dictator of Italy on October 28.
  • Hyperinflation of Germany

    Germany was in debt. Money was worthless. People suffered from extreme poverty.
  • The Great Depression

    Lasted until World War Two started. A time period of debt, poverty, and devastation.
  • Stock Market Crash

    Called Black Tuesday. It was a pre-curser to the Great Depression.
  • Japan invades Manchuria

    A breach to the rules of the League of Nations because the invasion happened without a declaration of war. The main purpose of the invasion was to gain natural resources.
  • Bonus March

    A protest by US Veterans of World War One to try and collect bonuses promised by Congress for sercvice in the war.
  • Hitler Assumes Power in Germany

    Hitler becomes führer of the Nazi Party. Becomes Chancellor of Gernany.
