Created by game designer Gunpei Yokoi and founded by Japanese entrepreneur Fusajirō Yamauchi, the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is an 8-bit third-generation home video game console produced by Nintendo. It first was released in Japan in 1983 as the The NES, a redesigned version, was released in America on October 1985, before it was available in the rest of North America and other countries. -
The Game Boy
Developed and manufactured by Nintendo, it was the first handheld in the Game Boy family. It features a dot-matrix screen with adjustable contrast dial, five game control buttons, a single speaker with adjustable volume dial, and, like its rivals, uses cartridges as physical media for games. -

The Virtual Boy
Developed and manufactured by Nintendo, it was the first console capable of displaying stereoscopic "3D" graphics .The games use a parallax effect to make the illusion of depth when the player put the headset on. -

Developed by Nintendo, it was released to compete with the Sony PlayStation, the Sega Saturn, and the Sony PlayStation 2. The console featured 3D capabilities, saved game storage and the first controller to ever feature an analog stick. -

The Wii was developed and marketed by Nintendo, the Wii was the first Nintendo console to directly support Internet connectivity, supporting both online games and for digital distribution of games and media apps through the Wii Shop Channel. The Wii also supports wireless connectivity with the Nintendo DS handheld console for selected games.
