    In the end, Good riddance. Mama and Maggie don't let the ugly scene with Dee get in the way of their good time as they hang out in the yard together enjoying themselves. Partly forgetting what had happened.

    Dee is the man like tough mama's older daughter. Her first ipression to us clearly states that she is an achiever who basically gets whatever she wants. Every success is in her way. And then theres her little sister named Maggie who is like the underdog in the family. These feww details make us understand the story ahead of us.

    Rising Action
    Dee acts really weird. She changed her name from Dee to Wangero. She starts to obsses over a butter churn and takes her mothers and sisters wierd photos. And so her defensive andweird manner leads to the uderying tension in the family which then leds us to the climax.
  • Climax

    Climax
    Dee wants mama's quilts but then mama refuses and tells her that they are set aside for Maggie. This leads Dee to throw a total fit as she always got whatever she wanted. Mama gave those quilts to maggie which distrupts the relationship between the three people. Maggie feels loved ... Mama took the stand and Dee ... well she got told for once atleast.
  • Falling Action

    Falling Action
    The fireworks are over as Dee gets ready to leave, and though she does throw in a few nasty words to her mother and Maggie, the big drama of the day has basically ended. Mama and Maggie watch her ride away.
