Thinking Jacob's disappearance is because of Hearthwood's enemies, and because of the war in general, Vassie takes the twins to her father's farm. -
Evan Visits Vassie
Desperate for help, Evan seeks out Vassie, Hearthwood's wife, thinking she'll help him since he was Hearthwood's "pet project". Vassie, fearing any refusal would put her and her family in more danger than his mere presense posed, accepted. She let him stay the night in the farm, much to her father's chagrin, but he understood the situation. The next day she told him of a warehouse he could hide in. He did so, and she tipped off the aurors of his location. -
Evan's Death
With Vassie's anonymous tip, Evan and Wilkes are cornered by Moody and killed while resisting arrest. -
