Magna Carta
Is a charter agreed by King John of England at Runnymede. It promised the protection of church rights, protection for the barons from illegal imprisonment and limitations on feudal payments to the Crown. Significant Contribution in the development of human rights because many important people as Gandhi or Jefferson, based in this document to create others. It was the cause of the First Barons' War. -
English Bill of Rights
The bill of rights helped create a system of government based on the rule of law and the freely elected parlament. This Bill laid the foundation for a limited or constitutional monarchy. Significant Contribution because it was the guide for the English Constitution. It was a reconstruction because it was after the Civil War. Revolution because the parliament wanted to overthrow the monarchy due to the human rights of the people were not respected. -
US Declaration of Independence
This was written by Thomas Jefferson and announced that the 13 colonies, that were in war with Great Britain, recognized themselves as independent states.
It was a significant contribution to the developement of human rights because it gave many right like the right of a revolution and that all men are created equal.
This was the cause of a conflict becuase GB did not wanted to free the colonies.

The Declaration of the rights of Man and of the Citizen is a fundamental document of the French Revolution and in the history of human and civil rights. Is a significant contribution because it inspired liberal democracy throughout the world. It is a reconstruction because it started after the French Revolution and was inspired on ideas of the American Revolution. -

The abolition of slavery in Us was written in the 13th Amendment and it occured because blackpeople was treated in a reall bad way. In the new imperialism, western powers looked for new territory and raw materials in Southeast Asia and Africa. They controlled their economy, the government and goods.
This was a signifiicant reduction in the developement of human rights because people weren´t allowed to control their government and to make a change in the laws. Also many rights were taken away, like the right to have a property, also there was racism.

During the Holocaust the Nazi wanted to exterminate the Jews, there were many racial struggles. Poeple were put in ghettos in horrible conditions, it was unsanitary, little food and they were killed there. This was a significant reduction in the developement of human rihgts because their rights were all taken away and the government did nothing. This was the result of a war, the WWII and Germany had many internal problems, so the governent was cruel and people like nazis weren´t stopped. -

The Future
In the future there is real democracy, people are not discriminated any more, there is the right of expression. Journalists are not killed or punished when they say what they think about the government. There is a significant contribution to the developement of human rights because most rights are respected by everyone, the government, the peolple and the organizations. This is a result os an internal revolution that gave good results for everyone.
