    Aristotle

    Aristotle
Aristotle's contribute to the atomic theory is creating the four elements. The elements are water, fire, earth and air. He also belived that there were for qualities to these elements. Hotness, Coldness, Moistness and dryness

    Democritus

    Democritus
Democritus was a Greek philosopher that made a contribute to the atomic theory by stating, "all things originate from a vortex of tiny, indivisible particles, which are called atoms, and differ according to the shape and arrangement of their atoms. He is recorded to have written over 70 works. According to Democritus' theory, ' atoms cannot be destroyed (an idea similar to the modern theory of the conservation of matter) and they exist in a vacuum or void.'
  • Cell Discovered

    Cell Discovered
The first cell was discovered by Robert Hooke
  • John Dalton

    John Dalton
An English chemist that stated all element are created from industructable particles called atoms. His theory also told what compounds are, these made different elements combined. He started the atomic theory.
  • Periodic Table Is Created

    Periodic Table Is Created
Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev created the first ever periodic table
  • Marrie and Pierre Curie

    Marrie and Pierre Curie
Marrie and Pierre were a husben and wife team that developed the use of radiolgy. They also dicovered and were the first to use the elements Radium and Polonium.
  • J.J Thomson

    J.J Thomson
Thomson founded the negitive partical, the electron. He is famouse for his Plum Pudding modell and the Cathode Ray tube experiment. These bothe helped devolope the use of the electron.
  • Henri Becquerel

    Henri Becquerel
Henri Becquerel was similer to the Curries he to used radiology. He devoloped the element Uranium with the use of the Curries knoledge.
  • Ernest Rutherford

    Ernest Rutherford
Ernest Rutherford as a man from New Zealand who did the famous and well-known "gold foil experiment" which disagreed with the J.J. Thompson's plum pudding model of the atom and proved that all atoms have a small, positively charged nucleus and the rest of the atom is made up of mostly empty space.
  • Robert Millikan

    Robert Millikan
Discover that the mass of a hydrogen atom is equal to the charge of an electron and the mass of an electron. The oil drop experiment was an experiment performed by Robert Millikan and Harvey Fletcher in 1909 to measure the elementary electric charge.
  • Niels Bohr

    Niels Bohr
In 1922, Niels Bohr developed an explanation of atomic structure that shows the regularities of the periodic table of elements. He also had an atomic model. He thought that the way atoms give off radiation by electron jumping from an outer orbit to an inner one.
  • James Chadwick

    James Chadwick
James Chadwick descovered the neutron and proved that the atomic nucleus contained a neutral particle. In 1935, Chadwick received the Nobel Prize for Physics for this discovery. During World War II, he worked with the British atomic bomb project.
  • Quantum Model

    Quantum Model
The Quantum model is the area where an electron may be located in. It also includes a nucleus that has neutrons and protons. The element that is my quantum model for is Beryllium
