After the civil war there was a time of reconstruction, rail roads encouraged this reconstruction and industrialization. It helped improve trade, population growth, and transportation. -

The first practical telephone was invented by Thomas A. Watson and Alexander Graham Bell. After this invention society was able to communicate more efficiently and it increased general productivity of life. -

Cars have changed the way we live in society. The things it changed are family life, the economy by creating new jobs, and even the environment from pollution. -
The TV.
The creation of the TV changed America. It became a source of entertainment, a new way to advertise, and a new way to learn. -
The Great Depression.
The collapse of the American economic system. This was a decade of suffering that lead up to a moment of depression. People lost their jobs, banks couldn't give money to the people who owned it and were forced to close down and refuse to give out loans, and businesses had to be shut down. -

This law effected business and in effect changed society, this law allowed everyone to the right to have a fair paying with good time jobs. It helped society get back on its feet after the depression because Americans feared after the war the economy would get bad. -

This invention allowed society to leap forward. It gave society a quicker and better way to communicate and changed business behaviors and transaction, it also gave society the best way to get information and learn. -

Allowed society to wirelessly communicate and improved information transferring and improved daily life and completion of tasks. -

After the events of 9/11 our economy fell in a large debt, the war that was being fought was off budget which pushed us farther in debt. Airport security is now more strict, and our emails, cell phone, and internet are subject to search by the government. -

Social media and smart phones have changed the way society lives. It has changed the way people communicate, advertising methods, and have given society a way to be connected and create bonds thought otherwise impossible.
