    Magna carta

    Magna carta
    The magna carta was a document that established an equality between the king John and the citizens.
    In London, England the "barons" were in discontent regarding their equality and opportunities . They decided to took action and they forced the King John to sign the magna carta which established protection and fairness. This was due of the abuse of the king.
    It contributed to human rights in the path of equality, and law regarding humans and penalisation .
  • English Bill of Rights

    English Bill of Rights
    The parliament made the declaration of rights which later was the bill of rights.
    The glorious revolution overthrew king James.
    The parliament offered the crown to Marry(daughter of king James ) and to her husband in exchange of accepting the bill of rights. The cause was absolute power.
    Human rights- It limited royal power, established rights to englishmen and freedom of government interferance.
  • US declaration of independence.

    US declaration of independence.
    It was the official document that established the US as an independent country. The 13 colonies of america wanted independence from GB due to their unfairness, taxation and bad economy. The war started in 1775. Due to the braveness of the Americans the British lost the war and signed the declaration wroted by Thomas Jefferson.
    The human rights applied here are freedom and democracy.

    In france there were layers in society. There was no freedom of press nor speech. Due to social unblanace the third state revolt agains the king demanding equality and the right that they deserve.
    Human rights- Development of freedom and democracy in Europe and world wide.

    Glorious step to humanity. The abolition of slavery took place after the american civil war. Abraham Lincoln and the North won the war and demanded freedom to slaves. Frederick Douglas was an abolitionist leader.
    Human rights freedom, equality, right to education, no torture, no slavery, freedom of speech, etc.

    Murder and masacre of 11 million people by the Nazi regime.
    6 million people were jews. Extermination of people of other races, homosexuals and people with mental disroders.
    Adolf hitler was the main leader of the Nazi party which took power on 1945.
    In 1942 the Germans stablished a final solution. They were going to exterminate all jews. SInce 1938 Jews were sended to concentration camps. In 1942 they turned into extermination camps. In 1945 Hitler and the Nazi germany was defeated.

    Extension of a countries power in other countries, usually by force to obtaiin resources and power. In the 20 century many european countries colonize africa to obtain power and money. They were violationg human rights and taking away peoples freedom.
    In this caste this event was a violation to human rights in the sense of liberty, equality, freedom of speech and taxation.
