It took ten years for the technology that Dr. Cooper invented to become available to the public. The first public cell phones were put out by Motorola. On June 29, 2007 the first iPhone was released. On June 11, 2007 announced at the Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference that the iPhone would support third-party applications using the Safari engine on the device.
