    Soviet Rover Crashes Near Apallo 11
    on July, 13, 1969 the Soviet space craft Luna 11 crashed into the lunar surface after it tried to get closer to the landing spot of Apallo 11 and coming in too fast and at the wrong angle. Once the ship crashed the Space Race was over, the Americans were the winners.

    On July, 21, 1969 Buz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong landed on the moon aboard the eagle, which was part of the apalo 11 spacecraft . They spent a total of 21 houres on the moon and then returned home.
