  • Pokemon Red and Blue

    Pokemon Blue Game PlayPokemon Red and Pokemon Blue were the first games released in America for the the GameBoy Color. The games began in Kanto as you traveled and competed for 8 gym badges. After you recieved the 8 badges, you competed in the Pokemon League. If you defeat the Pokemon Champion, then you become Pokemon Champion. The three starter Pokemon in the game are Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirlte.

    Pokemon Yellow ReviewPokemon Yellow set itself apart from any other Pokemon game ever created. In this game, the trainer was just like Ash Ketchum in the anime, you started out with Pikachu and it walked around with you. The concept of the game was the same as Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue just with a few tweeks and updates.

On the cover of Gold is the legendary Pokemon Ho-oh, and on the cover of Silver is the legendary Pokemon Silver. The games explores the world of Johto which is west of Kanto. After completing the Johto League you can go back to and travel to Kanto. The starter Pokemon in the game are Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. The Pokemon were expanded to 251 and new types were added, steel and dark.

    Pokemon Crystal ReviewAfter the succes of Pokemon Gold and Silver came Pokemon Crystal. Pokemon Crystal debuted when the trainer was able to choose if it was a boy or a girl. Also the game featured Pokemon that was not in the previous games. The starter Pokemon were the same of Pokemon Gold and Silver.

    Pokemon SapphireRuby and Sapphire made their debuts on the GameBoy Advance system. The games focused on the third generation of the Pokemon world, adding 135 for a total of 386 Pokemon. The games are in Hoenn. The starter Pokemon of the games are Torchic, Mudkip, and Treecko. The games featured double battles, Pokemon contests, the PokeNav, and newer Poke Balls.

    Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green InformationPokemon FireRed and LeafGreen was the remake of Pokemon Red and Blue. The Green name came from the Japanese edition of Pokemon Green that was released with Pokemon Red. The games were updated to the look and feel of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. The journey consited of the same journey of Red, Blue and Yellow. After the completion of the Pokemon League, the trainer is able to explore the Sevii Islands. Once the Sevii Islands are completed, the trainer is able to trade Pokemon from Ruby to the game.

    Pokemon Emerald TumblrLike Pokemon Crystal, Pokemon Emerald was made off the basis of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. After the conclusion of the Pokemon League, the trainer is able to compete in the Battle Froniter. There are slight changes to the game to make the adventure different as you travel throughout Hoenn and stop Team Plasma and Team Aqua.

The starter Pokemon areTurtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, The games allowed trades with previous games and Pokemon Ranger games. The Poketch was introduced and Pokemon Contest remade.

    Pokemon Platinum Offical WebsitePokemon Platinum is the third installment of the Sinnoh region games. The games add Pokemon that were not included in Diamond and Peral. Also the trainer can compete in the Sinnoh region Battle Frontier. Many of the gyms and the cities have been redesigned for a new gameplay experience.

    Pokemon Heart Gold and Pokemon Soul SilverThe games were a remake of Pokemon Gold and Silver. The games were given the look and feel of Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. The games begin in Johto and after the completion of the Johto League you are allowed to travel to Kanto to compete in the Kanto League. The Pokedex is expanded to 493 Pokemon. The player can have the pokemon follow him or her around like in Pokemon Yellow. The PokeGear makes it return to the games.

    Pokemon White ReviewThe fifth generation of the games Pokemon Black and White focus on the Unova region. What is different about the Pokemon in this region is that they have no correlation with Pokemon from other regions. The starter Pokemon are Snivy, Oshowott, and Tepig. The game is is based off of New York City with big tall buildings and bridges. Team Plasma and N are encounter in the game trying to rule the world with Pokemon.
  • Pokemon Black 2 and White 2

    Pokemon Black 2 White 2 Official PagePokemon Black 2 and White 2 are the first games to not follow the typical third game after the main series. This game begins in Southwestern Unova and 3 new gym leaders are introduced. More new places are to be explored in Unova. Team Plasma once again is causing trouble in the Unova region as they are trying to capute the legendary Pokemon Kyreum. Unlike in Black and White, Pokemon from previous regions are available from the start of the game.

    Pokemon X and Y Home PageThe sixth generation of the Pokemon series. Slated to released in October, the game will make its debut on the Nintendo 3DS. The starter Pokemon are Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie. The games legenadries are Yvetal and Xerneas. A new Eevee evolution has been revealed in Sylveon. The game is to bring major changes by being on the 3DS with new battle styles. The game is to be released worldwide in October. (Box Art has not been yet been released)
