Worst blizzard recorded in North Dakota lasted for 3 days. Some areas had drifts of 30 feet many areas had drifts of 20 feet. 74,500 heads of cattle died, 54,00 sheep and 2,400 pigs. Fortunately only 5 North Dakotans died.
