We took Kaya to get her first shots, she was not very happy about it and seemed to hold a grudge for the rest of the day. But at least we know she's healthy!!

Kaya was frightened at first but loved playing with all the dogs!

While taking Kaya for a walk at Waterton Canyon, she happened to step on a piece of glass and it got lodged into her foot and healed over. A few days later she was unable to walk on her paw and we had to take her to the vet. Luckily, the antibiotics worked and her paw was as good as new within a few days.

FINALLY! Kaya has a new home with a backyard she can run around and play in while we are not home. She loves the freedom of a doggie door and so do we....

Today we celebrated Kaya's first year in this world. We are so blessed to have a dog as amazing as she is. :)

This was Kays's first trip camping, we took her to explore the Poudre River... She doesn't like to swim much.

We left Kaya at home one night and we can home to a huge whole dug up under the fence, we lost her for three days. Finally, someone saw the Lost Dog sign we posted at the grocery store and told us they found her, the reunion was bittersweet.

Kaya loved climbing the rocks and hiking the hills at Red Rocks, especially with other dogs, she is such a spunky girl.
