    Introducing the printing system

    Johann Gutenberg invents a printing system suitable for mass production of books using movable type, oil-based inks and a wooden screw press.
    The Bible was the first book he printed. Two copies of the Gutenberg Bible were digitised.

    Fashion illustration began within the Aristocracy of whom recorded information about what they were wearing.

There will be a number of jobs are under threat, but Time described the move as a bold shift into digital. The UK edition of the fashion magazine aw its circulation fall by almost 18% in the first six months of 2016 to 121,000 copies a month.
