    In 1845, many groups of white settlers drifted into the town of Copperas Cove also bringing along many herds of cattle.

    Jesse Clements established an elemaentary school call Clemants Parson elementary school. It still operates and gives young students education.

    In 1878, one of the eariliest church groups met in private homes to worship and praise.. The methodist held secret and private meetings to that when they could worship and praise... it was by themselves.
  • Mr. and Mrs. Clemnts deeded 676 acres of land

    in 1881, Mr. Clements and his wife deeded 676 acres of land all the way to the gulf.

    in 1882, the Marston Ogletree stagecoach stopped operating. The building still stands in the Ogletree park./

    In 1884, the first school buildingw as created and was called the Avenue E school. This building still stands and is still in current use.
