When Ruth and Isabel docked on New York Island, Madam and Elihu Lockton was disputing over wether their housemaid, Becky, should go and get water for tea or one of the girls and they decided that Isabel would go and get the water. Curzon stepppped in and said he would take here to the water pump. While walking to the water pump Curzon was trying to convince Isabel to be a spy and reaport anything that may be of importance. -

Isabel is allowed to have the day of since it is Christmas. Isabel doesnt know what to do since the only places she has really been in New York Island is the prison, port, grocers, and the Locktons house. She decided to walk around the island and at nightfall she walked back to the Lockton's house and made fresh bread putting and added a couple of apples, chicken braests. She went back out with a basket full of the food and went to one of the small tent house and gave them the food. -
