Brian enters into the plane , it crashes and he goes down.

Brians' mom drives him to the airport to see his father in Canada, also during this his mom gives him a hatchet.

Brian wakes up after surviving the plane crash , finds cut cherries to eat.

Brian eats a lot of the gut cherries, throws up in the middle of the night feeling horrible

After his night of barfing, he finds raspberries and also meets a bear ,who doesn't injure him.

After searching for more food, he returns to his lean-to, sleeps through most of the night but is suddenly awoken by a porcupine.He throughs his hatchet at it and discovers he can make a fire with sparks.

Brian trys different ways to make a fire, using his 20 dollar bill, bark and oxygen.

While trying to catch fish, Brian sees a search plane ,which just flies over without noticing him.

Brian is awoken at night by a scratchy noise. He discovers in the morning it was a turtle laying her eggs. Brian decides to eat some and savor the rest.

After the plane leaves, Brian cuts himself because he thinks its all over.

After finding the eggs Brian decides to make a bow and arrow to catch fish, after failing a couple times the book jumps 42 days...

After jumping 42 days Brian has already perfected the arrows, and has feasted on fish, he is even getting sick of them.

After a wolf sighting Brian goes to bed , is awoken by a night visitor , which ends up being a skunk who blinds him, and steals the turtle egss. Thats when Brian decides to remodel the camp.

Brian remodels his campsite and builds a pond for the fish. He also starts cooking the fish around this time.

While trying to clean up a dead foolbird a moose attacked him , he was injured internally. That night after he went to bed a tornado tore up the campsite and injured Brian even more.

After the tornado Brian sees the plane was moved around . He can see the plane tail. After remaking his camp again he comes up with the plan to get the survival pack. He makes a raft out of a couple logs.

After many attempts at getting it Brian gets the Survival pack brings it up to shore and sleeps.

Brian digs through the pack and finds very useful tools. He finds fishing lours , a rifle a knife , matches and an emergency transmitter.

After finding freeze-dried foods Brian has a feast and is rescued by a pilot who heard the emergency transmitter.

After returning home Brian is bumbarded by people who wanted to know his story. The pilots body is also rescued from the lake.
