    During September 1792 a second civil commision is made. The commision arrived with 6,000 soldiers. Additionally, the French became republic at the same time.

    Léger Félicité Sonthonax was sent from france in 1793. He was sent to maintain and order the freedom to slaves if they would join his army. Soon after that he got rid of slavery all together.

    Fort Dauphin gets Captured
    On January 29, 1794 Fort-Dauphin got captured and blockaded on the land and on the water. Spanish seized the fort and then they captured the French commander and sent him to Mexico to do hard labor.

    Santo Domingo gets transferred to France in July of 1795. The reason they got transferred was because Spain made peace.

    In May 1797 Sonthonax makes Toussaint Commander of Chief. But then in August 1797 Sonthonax is forced out by Toussaint.

    The right of metropolitan representation is lost to the colonies in december of 1799. Additionally Napoleon becomes head of the state.

    Saint Domingue Gets Controlled
    August 1800 Saint Domingue got controlled by Toussaint. He got control over Saint Domingue because he defeated Rigaud.

    In February 1801 Toussaint got named Captain-General of Saint Domingue. The person how named him Captain-General was Napoleon. But then he retracts his decision.

    In 1802 Jean-Jacques Dessalines and Henry Christophe led a black army against the French. The reason they took the army against the French because they had evidence that Napoleon was going to try to restore slavery.
