Japan invaded Manchuria hoping to dominate all of East Aisa, This was the empirs plan to dominate more lands. This was a small cause of WWII. -
The New Deal (Eoconmic Event)
Frankin D. Roosevelt implants The New Deal. This was done to start helping the economy. It included things like minimum wage laws and the 40 hour work week. -
The Holocaust (Social Event)
The Holocaust was a persecution and murder of approximately six million Jews by the Nazi regime. The Nazis believed that Germans were racially superior and that the Jews, deemed inferior, were unworthy of life. This was the biggest genocide the world had ever seen. -
Hitler becames the Leader (Political Event)
Hitler takes power in Germany. He was able to come to power by, blaming a certain group of people, for the crisis in Germany. Germany needed a figure that would take the lead, and bring Germany back up on it's feet. -

Munich Agreement (Political Event)
The Munich agreement was permitting the Nazi Germany annaxetion of Czechoslovakia Sudetenland. The agreement was held in Munich, Germany. Today it is widely known as the failed appeasement toward Nazi Germany. -
Germany Invades Poland (Social Event)
When Hitler invaded Poland in September 1939, France and Britain declared war on Germany. After conquering Poland, Germany attacked France. France fell in June 1940. Great Britain was the only country that wasn't defeated. -
Hitler Invades Denmark and Norway (Political Event)
Hitler invaded and occupied Denmark and Norway to safeguard supply routes of Swedish ore. They also to establish a Norwegian base from which to break the British naval blockade on Germany. -
Chamberlian Resigns
Neville Chamberlain resigned after pressure from Labour members for a more active prosecution of the war and Winston Churchill became the new head of the wartime coalition government. Chamberlain gave Churchill his unreserved support. -
France Surrender to Germany (Polticial Event)
The resistance of France can no longer hold up against the Germans. The French Government calls on the Germans for an armistice to end the fighting. -
Stalingrad (Military event)
Four milion troops crossed Russia's borders. Within a month or two millions of Russian soldiers were either wounded or killed. However during winter, the Germans got caught in a turning point. Stalin threw another two million soldier at the Germans. -
The Attack on Pearl Harbor (Military Event)
On this day the Japanese attack an American Base located in Hawii. It was a terrible day, thousands of US Soldiers were killed. After this event FDR propsed that Japense Americans be imprisioned. -
Battle of the Coral Sea End (Social Event)
This was the first battle in which fleets engaged at each other. This was a major naval battle of the Pacific fought by, the Imperial Japanese Navy and Ameircan Navy as well as the Austrailian Navy. -
Battle of Midway (Military Event)
After the attck of Pearl Harbor, the Japanese rolled all over other parts of Asia. The war of the Pacific was fought on land, sea, and in the air. The turning point of the Pacific battle was on the battle of Midway. -
Allies Meet in Tehran
Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill met to co-ordinate plans for Germany. They also discussed post war settlements. Churchill and Roosevelt didn't really trust Stalin. They were unsure about him. However the fate of Europe of the War was decided. -
The Battle of Bulge (Mititary Event)
Hitler had convinced him self that the alliance between France, Britain, and America was not good enough, and should therefore attack. He did this becasue he though this would break the alliance. He then forced a massive attack on what was primarly American forces. -

On this day the Soviet Union attacked the heart of the City, Berlin. The allied forces attacked from above. -

A bomb was denoted over Nagasaki, Japan on August, 6th 1945. The bomb was dropped by the American Forces. It was the second of only two atomic bombs used warfare to date. -
Bomb Dropped on Hiroshima (Military Event)
On this day an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. It served as a center to the Military. This city had a population of at least 300,000. A soldier count of 43,000.
