    In the first pages it shows the life of Kasta, who has a specific type of graceling. Graceling's give you a special skill or talent. Katsa's graceling just happens to be killing and so now everyone one is scared of her.

    Pages48-110

    In these pages Katsa decideds to rebel against the king, who is her uncle. She has also meet a prince named Po and becomes friend with him. Po learns form Kasta that they are keeping his grandfather, and later, Po and Katsa decide to set out to find who had originally kinapped him.

    Pages 246-249

    Katsa and Po havce found Po's niece, Bitterblue and learns new things. They know king Leck has a grace and it makes people believe whatever you say. Also, they learn new thing about him killing animals. He also killed his wife.

    Pages 111-246

    Katsa, now going off with Po is helping him find his niece. Of course, with things sytill being akward between the two, the fell in love, they decide to work it out while they look. They then decide to enter into a lover's relationship.

    Pages 292-333

    In these pages Kasta goes off with Bitterblue, hoping to protect her. You see, she and Po find out he has a grace. So then Po goes off to kill him, for he's uneffecvted by the mans grace, yet Po gets terribly injured, so now they move on with King Leck alive.

    Po tells Kasta to go on without her, leaving Kasta heartbroken. Of course, Po has a humourous way of saying that she would've left him anyway. So now Kasta heads over the mpountains with Bitterblue where she expierence what it's like to be in pain.

    In the end of the book Kasta kills King Leck. That is also when she knows Bitterblue is now safe so she sets out to find Po. Eventually she finds Po with King Ror and Skye's help, Po's father and brother, and finds out he's blind. They start to sort out the situation to the point that they learn to accept it.
