Borin in Philadelphia, Penslyvania to an upper middle class family. Grace was raised in Philadelphia by her parents and two siblings. -
The Beginging of a Career
After graduating from the American Acadamy of Dramtic Arts Grace began to pursue a career on Broadway before moving on to film after the end of World War Two. Grace also had a berif experience in the modeling world at this time. -
Broadway Debut
Grace made her debut in Austin Stienbergs musical The Father. Later learning she wasnt right for Broadway Grace found her way to Hollywood to work on film. -
Televison Debut
Grace got her start on televsion as the voice of Obssesion on the TV series Believe it or Not. Over the duration of her career Grace appeared in over eighteen televsion shows. -
Film Debut
Grace had a small role in the film Fourteen Hours. Although having done work on televison this was her first time appering in a feature film. She was wildely sucessful in Hollywood and appered in eleven major films in throughout her memorable career. -
High Noon
After being hand picked by Gary Cooper off of the set of Fourteen Hours Grace played his wife in this western. Her performance in this role brought her to star status. -
MGM Contract
Grace commits to a seven year contract with MGM on the condtition she is allowed to live in New York City every other year to find work on Broadway. She also would be loaned out by MGM to film other movies such as Dial M for Murder, and Rear Window. -
Mogambo
Grace recived her first Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her work in this film, she also won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Grace also was rummored to have had an affair with Clarke Gable while filimg in Kenya. -
Dial for Murder
Grace films her first of three films with Alfred Hitchcock, she potrayed the staring role of Margot Wendice in this murder mystery fiim. Alfred Hitchcock he considered her to be the "eptiome of femme fatel" and was considered to be one of her mentors and close freinds. -
The Country Girl
Grace had a staring role in this film opposite Bing Crosby. It was ther performance in this role that won her an Acadamy Award for Best Actress. -
Love Meets
Grace meets Prince Rainier III of Monaco on the set of a photoshoot. The two slowly begin their whirlwind fairy tale romance. -
A Royal Wedding
Grace marries Prince Rainier III of Monaco in an elebrate royal wedding, becoming Princess Grace of Monaco. There was a media frenzy surrounding the fairy tale wedding. -
An End of an Era
Graces announces the end of her career in Hollywood in order to become Princess Grace of Monaco and have a family. This closed the curtains on her swift yet sucessful seven year reign of stardom. This early end left her contract with MGM unfuffiled. -
Last Hollywood Film
The last Hollywood role Grace played was in the film High Soceity directed by Charles Walters. Grace falunted her large engaement ring while filming, she even wore it in the film -

Unfortante Death
After suffering from a sespected stroke while driving in the mountains of France with her daughter Princess Stephanie, Grace lost control of her car and drove off a small cliff. Grace died the next day in the hospital at age fifty three. Stephanie survived with minor injuries.
