    In 1787 the first steam boat was invented. This allowed people to get across a large bodys of water much easier.Before this you had to depend on the conditions to be right to sail.

    The first steam train was invented in 1804.This allowed people to get across land much faster and much more efficiently. Before this it was hard for people to get across land from one place to another.
  • First Telephone

    The telephone was created in 1876 this allowed people to talk to people across the world. Before the telephone communication by voice from across the world seemed impossible before the telephone.
  • First Car

    The first car was invented in 1885. The car allowed people to travel where and when they want to. It also gave a means of private transportation. Before this people had to pack on crowded trains and boats.

    In 1895 The first radio was invented. This was the first time that someone's voice and music could be broadcasted live publicly. Before this people would use records to listen to music.

    The first plane was invented in 1903. The plane allowed people to quickly travel around the world. Before this people had to drive, take the train or take a boat to travel anywhere long distance.

    The first T.V was invented in 1927 this allowed people to broadcast pictures around the world. Before this people could only listen to shows on the radio and now they could watch them.
