Cheyenne was sitting waiting for her mom to get out of the store, when Griffin came into the SUV stealing away the car, and also accidentally stealing Cheyenne.
-
Griffin and Cheyenna are both fighting in the car and during Cheyenne reveals that she is blind.
-
Cheyenne got to Griffin's house for the first time where she meets the rest of the "car theivies."
-
-
I thought this was important to the story because a lot of blind people somewhat depend on their walking stick, and it made Cheyenne get quite more creative with her sense and also with the other objects around her to use.
-
Griffin of course can't have the girl dying on him, but this gesture also showed that he did care for Cheyenne and they were somewhat friends, and that he wanted to help her as much as he could.
-
This happened minutes before she made her escpae. She didn't think she could trust Griffin, but it pained her very much to hurt her friend and the only person in the house who was even helping her. It showed what people do for survival .
-
With their dog Duke at her side, Cheyenne started her way into the woods. but soon, Duke left Cheyenne (him being an untrained dog) so she has to improvise with what she had and the made a walking stick out of a twig. (it soon started to snow)
-
After waking up from being brutally knocked out with a wrench, Griffin went and seached in the woods for Cheyenne, finding her. Soon after being reunited and trying to escpae, Griffin's foot feel in a hole and he broke his ankle.
-
Cheyenne is going through the woods and is almost out when she hears a "cop" who turns out to be Roy, so her and Roy fight and she drives his car and uses his phone to call 911 and gets help.
-
Cheyenne and Griffin end up getting away safely.
