    Germany invades Austria and the day after, it anounced that it's union with Austria was complete. No countries did anything to intervene.
  • Germany gains Sudetenland

    Daladier (France) and Chamberlain (Britain) chose to believe Sudetenland would be his last territorial demandin order to avoid war and they signed the Munich Agreement, which signed Sudetenland over to Germany.

    Hitler brought in troops at the break of dawn and by nightfall, Hilter was gloating that "Czechoslovakia has ceased to exist."

    Russia and Germany signed a nonagression pact. Germany and the Soviet Union also signed a second, secretive pact agreeing to divide Poland between the two of them.
