    The Cambrian Period was when life first boomed. All life was aquatic. Trilobites were pretty dominant. Pangea is formed.
  • Ordovican

    Ordovican
    Echinoderms and invertabres were majorly dominant. Life was mainy aquatic. The continents were formed, but inhospitable. (500M- 435M)
  • Silurian

    Silurian
    Terestrial plants and animals begin, as ozone forms, making the surface hospitable. Tiktaalik and Eurypterids arfe dominant. (435M- 395M)
  • Devonian

    Devonian
    Amphibians and ammonites begin to take form. Armored fish go extinct. (395M- 345M)
  • Carbiniferous

    Carbiniferous
    Sharks and Amphibians are abundant. Swamps and coal forests form on the surface and scale trees and seed ferns are abundant. Reptiles form. (345M- 280M)
  • Permian

    Permian
    Trilobites and many other marine animals go extinct. Reptiles develop. Permian extinction due to a mantle eruption takes place, wiping out a majority of life. (280M- 225M).
  • Triassic

    Triassic
    Early Dinosaurs, Cycads, Conifers are abundant. Earth begins a period of warming. (225M- 195M).
  • Jurassic

    Jurassic
    Earliest dirds and mammals develop. Dinosaurs, Ammonites are abundant (195M- 136M).
  • Cretaceous

    Cretaceous
    Early flowers develop. Climax of Dinosaurs, extinction. KT extinction takes place, sagain killing much of life (136M- 65M).
  • Tertiary

    Tertiary
    Earliest Placental Mammals begin to develop. Modern mammals, begin to form (65M- 1.8M).
  • Quaternary

    Quaternary
    Large Mammals, humans and Mastadons develop, as a global cooling trend ends (1.8M- Present).
