    The signing of the document that started the American Revolution. The Declaration of Independence declared to Britan that we the people of what was then the colonies did not wish to be governed by the English crown and were now declaring independence from England and would now become its own country known as the United States of America.

    The south would fall and sign a territy to end the war and give up on the attempt to susseed from the union and rejoin the United States. Slavery would then then become illigal.

    Gave the right for all male citizens to vote no matter what race, color, or condition of servitude.

    President Grant Signed into powere the Civil Rights Act of 1875, this gave African Americans equal treatment and public accamadations and would be able to be on a jury.
