    You meet Keturah and it begins by telling you that the story is a narrative and is forshadowing an experience from Keturah to the people aroung the camp fire. The story begins by how she finds herself lost in the forest and meets Lord Death. She persuades Lord Death to give her more time by beginning a story but promising to tell him the end the next day when she finds her true love, She is returened to the forest where her family and friends are worried sick.
  • 39-70

    Lord Death informs her that he is sending a plague to her dear Tide By Road and Keturah is determined to stop it. She begins searching for her truw love and looks to Ben, knowing the only way he would fall inlove with her is by her cooking so she sends the boy to go fetch her lemons.
  • 70- 102

    Keturah speaks to John and warns him about the plague. He takes her warning and Keturah wonders if John is her true love. Keturah and her grandmother help Goody give birth to her baby. During the process Keturah is reminded of how she has seen loord death lurk in the shadows before someone dies in child birth but she doesn't see him during goody's birth. She returns to the woods and persuades him with another day,
  • 102-132

    The boy returns from Angelland with the lemons but he also bring the plague. Keturah is devastated and the townspeople think she set a curse. Keturah realizes Ben is not her true love and refers back to John. Meanwhile, John explains to her that the king is coming to their land and explains the importance of prepairing their little town.
  • 132-167

    Keturah goes back to the woods where she is promised only one more day. She goes to door Lily who makes her a magical eye that will seek put her true love. Keturah goes to the men in town but the charm does nothing for each. She does notice that is slightly twotches for John. In the end, Keturah goes back to the woods where Lord Death kissed her and Keturah falls in love with Death. She promises to come back to him after she fixes Tide By Road
  • 167-216

    In the end, Keturah inspires the whole city to help decorate. The greatest dresses are made, the greatest food and the greatest music all for the king. Lord Death promises to take away the plague, which he does. The king arrives and has a great time. John is awarded for his success for his land and Keturah goes back into the forest. john sees Lord Death and admits his love to Ketureah but Keturah realizes that she really does love Death so she picks him and they ride off into the woods
