Albany Congress Meets
This was a meeting thats' discussions included the Iroqouis joining the English's side to fight the French. The two most important people there were Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Hutchinson who wanted to discuss all the colonies uniting together. -
Fort Necessity
At this un-skillfully built fort, took place one of the most strange battle in the whole war. Washington and his men built a fort on very low ground and payed for it when it started to rain and they got flooded. This was really the first battle of the French and Indian war. -

General Braddock defeated near Fort Duquesne
The British troops were surprised by 900 French and Indians in the woods near Fort Duquesne. General Braddock showed great bravery but died in battle due to wounds. -
Fort William and Henry Massacre
This was one of the all timelows in the war ofr the British. They were fighting an ok battle until they started to run out of supplys. But the French and especially the Indians would take no mercy on the redcoats and slaughtered them all. -
William Pitt put in chargeof British Army
After Wiliam Pitt was given the position of Secretary of State, the whole war changed in the favor of the British. They started using the Indian way of fighting instead of their traditional open field way. It proved to have great outcomes. -
Siege of Quebec begins
This was one of the war strategies of the William Pitt, to take control of all the main water routes to cut off French supplies. Quebec wa one of the main ports that gave control of alot of important water ways. -
Quebec falls to The British
After a long two month siege by the British the city of Quebec finally was in control of the British. This was when the momentum in the war really turned in the British favor. -
Montreal Surrenders to British
Just as Quebec had, Montreal a major city on an important river had fallen into British posession. This was really nearing the end for the French in the war. -
Treaty of Paris
The French and Indian war had finally ended. The British had gained control of all of Canada. (Including the Land i nthe Ohio river valley all the way out to the Mississippi River(beyond that was Spanish) -
End of Pontiacs Rebellion
The Pontiacs rebellion was just alotof the Indians and the settelers fighting over the western land.In the end the British were not aloud beyond a certain area/line. That created alotof tension between colonists and Britsh officials.
