Benjamin Rush was the first signer of the Declaration of Independence with a medical degree -
Declaration of Independence was put into action
in a general sense, it was a break up letter to Great Britain, cause the colonies weren't cool in that relationship. The main writers were Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, and the others (didn't put in much work) were Ben Franklin, Roger Sherman, and Robert Livingston. As well as a break up, it was made to appeal to other nations and unify the states leaving Britain in the first place. -
